The work

From script to interactive experience.

Visual Story Composer gives authors a structured visual workflow to build playable branching stories. Chapters and episodes are assembled from dialogue, narration, choices, transitions and endings, supported by character management, locations, wardrobe, galleries and game state.

Where the project stands

Visual Story Composer is Kroventra’s own development project and is listed as in development, not as shipped software. The current build covers story and chapter management, a scene composer, dialogue and narration, branching choices and routes, image generation, and game state with playtesting. It has no public release yet: no client is running it, and no delivery, operating period or user figures are claimed.

It is shown here because it demonstrates the application work Kroventra sells: a data model for stories, chapters, scenes and state; an authoring interface built around how writers actually work; generated imagery integrated into the authoring flow; and a playable runtime that reads the same data. The same architecture, interface and development roles apply to client applications, which start with a €750 Application Discovery and a Product Prototype from €2,450.

The project follows the same route Kroventra sells to clients: discovery of the authoring workflow, a prototype of the scene composer and runtime, and iterative builds reviewed against real scripts. Progress is tracked in three milestones — authoring, generation and runtime — and the project moves to the shipped-work section only when a version is in use outside Kroventra. Until then its status reads “in development” on every page where it appears, including the portfolio hub and the applications service page.
